maintenance, first of all, you must schedule your boiler’s maintenance at
regular and frequent intervals and sometimes you must carry out preventive
maintenance on your boiler. Boiler maintenance includes cleaning of boiler
tubes and shell along with repair and replacement of faulty and malfunctioning
parts of your boiler.
Cleaning boiler
tubes is necessary as there is a lot of debris like sludge and corroded
particles of the tubes get deposited on the inner surface of the tube. This
accumulation of dirt causes lower efficiency of boiler which leads to more
consumption of fuel and economic loss to the company. Electric tube cleaners
are used for cleaning the boiler tubes in an efficient way. Other types of tube
cleaners available in the market include pneumatic and hydraulic tube cleaners.
Some boilers even choose to do cleaning manually for smaller boilers with the

After cleaning
of the boiler tubes, the boiler is inspected for any type of malfunctioning or
fault in any components of the boiler. If there is any fault or defect found in
the boiler, it is repaired or replaced with immediate effect to restore best
working of the boiler.
